Terms of Service

The terms that govern access to and use of Slacklane.

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Acceptance

By accessing or using Slacklane, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use Slacklane for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

The service

Slacklane helps teams organize selected knowledge sources and use an assistant in Slack. Features may change as the product develops. Some features, including Agent Mode, may be offered as early access and may have additional rules before they are enabled.

Your workspace and content

You are responsible for your workspace, the people you invite, and the sources or content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content to Slacklane and to the AI provider your workspace selects. Do not use Slacklane to upload unlawful content, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, transmit malware, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls.

Slack and AI providers

Slacklane connects to Slack through Slack’s OAuth flow and uses the permissions approved by the installing workspace. Your use of Slack is governed by Slack’s terms. New workspaces may receive a time-limited trial powered by Slacklane’s AI provider. A workspace can connect and pay for its own supported AI provider at any time, and its key takes precedence. Provider requests and use are governed by the applicable provider’s terms. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate, so review important answers before relying on them.

Plans and billing

Free and paid plan limits are displayed in Slacklane. Paid subscriptions are charged per workspace through Dodo Payments. You authorize applicable recurring charges until cancellation. Taxes, if applicable, may be added at checkout. You can manage an active subscription through the billing portal. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Slacklane available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve the service.

Intellectual property

Slacklane and its software, design, and branding are owned by Slacklane or its licensors. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Slacklane the limited rights needed to host, process, and display your content solely to provide and support the service.

Termination

You may stop using Slacklane and delete a workspace at any time, subject to settling any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access where use violates these terms, threatens the service or others, or is required by law.

Disclaimers and liability

Slacklane is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slacklane disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slacklane will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@slacklane.pro.
